Oklahoma Man Dead After Being Pinned By Heavy Equipment Saturday

Grady County oilfield accident takes the life of 1 OklahomanA 28-year-old man died Saturday after he was pinned between a tractor-trailer and a track hoe at an oil field site in Grady County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 10:15 a.m., Jessie Ray Martinez, of Purcell, was at the site on private property, about 3 miles east of Ninnekah.

Martinez walked in between the rig and the track hoe, which was unloading mud from the rig's trailer. Martinez was pinned between the two vehicles. He was taken to a hospital in Chickasha where he died, troopers said.
