larry lee said:   October 11, 2009 7:54 pm PST
i worked on a challenger trailer mounted single 2000 ft. rig that was the worst job i ever had drilling in okla..then i worked on a rig that was so big that we had to set the kelly back, bridal up & lay the derrick over about half way every day just before noon so the sun could go on over.that was the best job i ever had.and i`ve worked on about every size rig in between.

larry lee said:   October 11, 2009 7:10 pm PST
just found the pages with recent comments & i`m glad to see that this site is creating some positive feedback about the patch.you guys keep putting your names out to the drilling outfits & do whatever comes your way to hang in till things pick up again.the patch is a fickel place & can get you down, but it can`t keep a good man down.

larry lee said:   October 11, 2009 6:38 pm PST
only site i`ve seen so far with all oily feedback.i love it!would like to see updates from you guys.most recent i see is from `07.i roughnecked, drilled & pushed tools for almost 30 years before i slipped on ice on rig floor & broke my back in 4 places on new years eve 1999 while drilling morning tour on goober drilling rig 6.i was breaking in a new crew while drilling out from under surface running up & down to & from pits showing derrickman how to run a slug & work the pits.i`ve been disabled ever since, but i sure miss it sometimes.i`d like to hear from some of my old hands.i worked probably a couple of hundred over the years.i sure got screwed over by goober`s so called "safety man ".if they hadn`t fought me at every step & authorized the surgery before 9 months passed, i might have been back out there.anyway,ya`ll be careful out there.

Great Site!...Hang In there All..NA Rig count is steady at +900, mix is switching to oil, gas too cheap for a long while - China dont buy it, so..Its tough on the independent operators as well..go do some online courses or something, get skilled up while you wait.

People keep asking if I took the photo of the Rig, Tornado and Lighting - NO I DIDN'T take this photo and neithere did anyone else - The Photo with the Rig, Tornado and Lightning is 3 photos put together to make a single image ----- My photo of Parker 201 appearing to be struck by lightning is a Single 7 second timed exposure and not a double exposure as some have claimed - The lightning was behind the rig but it looks like it hit the rig -- My photo was taken in 1982 when the rig was drilling the #1 Robinson well south of Elk City, Oklahoma - If you'd like one of my photos of Rig 201 Hit by Lightning it is available on ebay under my ID ugot2bid2win - or you can contact me at babo2peej@yahoo.com -- Have a nice day -

Yes, these pruoblems started before obama was here. But they started because he was comeing. He is not doing anything to make it better, olny doing things to make it wores. He thinks green energy will save the world, what will it do for us and our familys today. It won't help us suport our familys.
