With the work of moving a drilling rig being fast paced it is easy to sometimes forget to install a pin and that can result in disaster and death.With several crews working together it is important that every stage of assembling the derrick be checked and double checked before the mast is raised. Every life depends on it. This video slideshow shows what can happen when proper safety practices are not followed. "Hurry,Hurry,Hurry", is the way of the oilfield-but before raising a derrick it's time to slow down for a few moments and everyone inspect their work.
