Drilling Rig A-Leg Failure
This Rig in SW Wyoming,While picking up the derrick, The cross member between the A legs broke loose and landed on the floor killing one hand that was standing there. The derrick was 3 to 4 feet off the stand when this happened. The cause was thought to be that a pin had rattled out on the rig move
